Oman: Masirah Oil s Yumna-3 well commences production in Oman

Masirah Oil has announced that production has commenced from the third development well drilled in the Yumna field, in Block 50, offshore Oman. Yumna-3 has been tested at a rate of 12,984 stb/d of oil on natural flow through an 80/64” choke.

City of Casper Now Accepts Massage Therapy License Applications

A new City of Casper ordinance will require massage therapists and massage therapy businesses to be licensed, according to a news release from the City Clerk s Office. “A committee that included local massage therapists and two council members helped develop the ordinance, after concerns were brought to the Council,” licensing specialists Carla Mills-Laatsch said. The city council began discussing the licensure issue in August, according to work session minutes. Traci Aguilar of Peak Performance Massage Therapy told the council that Wyoming was one of only two states that did not require massage therapists to be certified or licensed, and that enabled unethical establishments to operate by people who were not properly trained.

UK: Angus Energy provides update on re-evaluation of the Lidsey field (PL 241) 22 Feb 2021 AIM-listed Angus Energy has provided an update and presentation on recent work done by the Company on reprocessing and reinterpreting the Lidsey seismic data.  One of the conclusions of the work is that previous seismic mapping both underestimated the aerial extent of the reservoir and most importantly its shape.  As a consequence of which, the presentation addresses the likelihood that both wells X1 and X2 have been addressing the flank or edge of the structure rather than its crest. The Company therefore intends to acquire a new line of seismic data and reprocess the existing seismic lines. Angus will reinterpret and remap the field using the new data with the aim of identifying a new drilling target.  Assuming the further seismic line does not result in a wholly unexpected remapping, the Company will then explore farmout or other financing for a short sidetrack back to the crest of
