Date Time Teenager charged after pursuit – Normanhurst A teenager has been charged with multiple offences after a pursuit in Sydney’s north last night. About 11pm (Wednesday 13 January 2021), officers attached to Ryde Highway Patrol were conducting patrols on the M1 Motorway, near Wahroonga, when they saw a white Audi travelling south on the M1 allegedly at high speed. Checks revealed the vehicle had been reported stolen and had been involved in a pursuit earlier that evening in the Tuggerah Lakes area. Police activated their warning lights and sirens directing the driver to stop; however, the driver allegedly accelerated away, and a pursuit was initiated.
