AIM-listed Pantheon Resources has spudded the Talitha-A well, North Slope of Alaska. The Company estimates the Talitha-A well will target in the region of a billion barrels of recoverable oil potential across the multiple stacked (primary and secondary) objectives.
Total and Apache Corporation have made a new significant oil and gas discovery at the Keskesi East-1 well, in Block 58 off the coast of Suriname. This follows previous discoveries at Maka Central, Sapakara West and Kwaskwasi.
Equinor has been selected to provide New York State with offshore wind power in one of the largest renewable energy procurements in the U.S. to date. Equinor and incoming strategic partner BP will provide 1,260 megawatts (MW) of renewable offshore wind power from Empire Wind 2, and another 1,230 MW of power from Beacon Wind 1.

Teenager charged after pursuit – Normanhurst
A teenager has been charged with multiple offences after a pursuit in Sydney’s north last night.
About 11pm (Wednesday 13 January 2021), officers attached to Ryde Highway Patrol were conducting patrols on the M1 Motorway, near Wahroonga, when they saw a white Audi travelling south on the M1 allegedly at high speed.
Checks revealed the vehicle had been reported stolen and had been involved in a pursuit earlier that evening in the Tuggerah Lakes area.
Police activated their warning lights and sirens directing the driver to stop; however, the driver allegedly accelerated away, and a pursuit was initiated.
