It s a Valentine s Day tradition that goes back nearly a decade a group of volunteers from faith organizations across Canada prepare care packages for women staying in shelters. This year, the planning, preparation and delivery has been altered by the pandemic, but COVID-19 has also made the need greater, as women and children are more likely to find themselves confined with abusive men.
