Top Story April 12, 2021 LAHORE: By April 11, 2021, at least 170 countries and territories have administered more than 773 million doses of a COVID-19 vaccine to their citizens, the CNN has reported. The CNN has based its findings on vaccination figures coming from “Our World Data,” or the OWID, which is a data research website published by the “Global Change Data Laboratory,” a British charity based at the University of Oxford’s “Martin Programme on Global Development.” The renowned American media house has added: “Several different vaccines have been developed at record speed, in large part due to years of research on related viruses and billions of dollars in investment. In December 2020, the first dose of a fully tested vaccine manufactured by Pfizer/ BioNTech was administered in the United Kingdom. Now, multiple vaccines have been authorised for use around the world and dozens of countries and territories have joined the race to vaccinate their residents.
