NZX Appoints Specialist Global Expert To Tech Committee Date

NZX today announced the appointment of a specialist global expert in stock exchange computer systems, Peter Jessup, to its Technology Sub-committee of the NZX Board.
Mr Jessup brings more than 35 years’ IT experience – predominantly in stock exchange and related areas, including trading and post trade systems. Prior to establishing an independent consultancy in 2018, he was Senior Vice President at Nasdaq’s Global Technology Services group, leading an international team of software product engineers and support personnel of over 250 across four geographical locations.
In his 23-year tenure at Nasdaq, Mr Jessup oversaw the development of several products including the X stream matching platform, which became the fastest matching system in the world. He previously worked for NZSE (New Zealand Stock Exchange) where he played an instrumental role in the design and development of the FASTER DvP Settlem
