WATERFORD Police are warning a major construction project could cause significant delays in Quaker Hill.
Gas lines are being installed by Eversource, according to the Waterford Police Department. After the gas lines are installed in Quaker Hill, construction crews will be moving to Route 32.
Route 32 will have significant restrictions for several weeks, and possibly months, as crews work and police direct traffic, police said.
Anyone traveling from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. is advised to consider an alternate route, police said.
Work will not be conducted on May 19 due to President Joe Biden’s visit to the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, where he will be giving a keynote address during graduation.
