KANSAS CITY, Mo. â Kansas City-area residents on both sides of the state line are frustrated with the COVID-19 vaccine rollout.
âIâm on lists everywhere and nobody can help me, said Lynette Fisk, who lives in Pleasant Hill.
Fisk and her husband, Dale, told 41 Action News they ve been experiencing issues getting an appointment, and they re not the only ones.
âWeâre on their lists. Weâre on every list we can be on, Lenexa resident Lester Kerschner said.
For nearly a month, people have been signed up to receive their vaccine, but they have not been notified of their turn.

Data from four local health organizations showed that nearly 12,000 first doses of COVID-19 vaccine had been administered in Douglas County as of Thursday.
Karrey Britt, spokesperson for Lawrence-Douglas County Public Health, sent data compiled from reports by LMH Health, Lawrence-Douglas County Public Health, Haskell Indian Health Center and Heartland Community Health Center.
The data shows that these four organizations have administered 11,892 of the 13,840 first doses they have received, or 85.9%. The four organizations have also administered 1,716 of the 9,180 second doses they have received, or 18.7%.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - Walmarts and Samâs clubs across the state will begin administering COVID-19 vaccines Friday.
The mega-retailers are taking part in the U.S. Federal Retail Pharmacy Program.
According to State Health Officer Dr. Scott Harris, this program gives the state a direct allocation from the federal government that will not take away from the stateâs weekly allocation, which is upwards of 70,000 doses a week.

ST. LOUIS Beginning Friday, Walmart and Sam’s Club pharmacies will be administering COVID-19 vaccines in Missouri.
The U.S. Federal Retail Pharmacy Program approved this vaccine administration in 22 states.
More than 70 Walmart and six Sam’s Club locations in Missouri will be open to vaccinate eligible customers.
