WASHINGTON, Dec. 9 (Xinhua) Tom Wolf, governor of U.S. state of Pennsylvania, said on Wednesday that he has tested positive for COVID-19. I had no symptoms and am feeling well and I am in isolation at home, Wolf tweeted.
The governor stressed his positive test is a reminder that no one is immune from COVID, while urging Pennsylvanians to wear a mask, stay home as much as possible.
More than 15 million people have contracted the virus in the United States, leading to nearly 290,000 deaths, according to tallies by Johns Hopkins University.
On Wednesday alone, the country reported some 210,000 new cases and more than 3,000 deaths.
