Erie Times-News
An Erie Dance Conservatory student, 5-year-old
Viviana Pribonic, was chosen to be a costume model for the national dance costume catalog Curtain Call Costumes 2021.
Her mother,
Deena Pribonic, who is also an instructor at Erie Dance Conservatory, had a friend who works for Curtain Call Costumes and thought Viviana would make a great candidate, according to information provided by Erie Dance Conservatory. So, mother and daughter traveled five hours to York on three different occasions in January, February and June 2020 for photo shoots.
Sarah Purvis, the dance school’s artistic director, said that Viviana was a natural. She was not only featured throughout the catalog, but also as one of the dancers on the cover.
While the economy teeters, and capacity restrictions squeeze restaurateurs, you can t stop the new places from opening in and around the Erie area.
It appears there will be a new barbecue restaurant in the region to meet the warmer weather of spring.
Skinny Nate s BBQ, 10212 John Williams Ave., Albion, is in the works and a Feb. 11 Facebook post hinted at an opening in a couple of months, assuming they don t hit any major snags. Somebody there has a goofy sense of humor because their Facebook posts are pretty hilarious. If you need a smile, give them a look see at www.facebook.com/skinnynates.
The Erie Philharmonic will give another free online concert Feb. 25. This time, the event is about more than just the music.
