BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) â Buffalo police are investigating a deadly crash on Humboldt Parkway Friday.
Police say a vehicle crashed into a tree on the 800 block of Humboldt Parkway around 5 a.m. and the 38-year-old male driver was killed.
The Accident Investigation Unit is working to determine what caused the crash.

A 37-year-old male pedestrian died after being hit by a hit-skip vehicle at a Southeast Side intersection Friday morning.
Jonas Sims, who lived on North 20th Street in the King-Lincoln Bronzeville neighborhood east of Downtown, was reported lying on Refugee Road about 800 feet east of Winchester Pike just after 6 a.m. by a passerby, the Columbus police Accident Investigation Unit reported.
Sims was apparently walking along Refugee Road when he was hit by an eastbound vehicle which fled the scene, police said. Sims was pronounced dead at the scene, the first traffic and pedestrian fatality in the city in 2021.
Investigators are seeking a vehicle with obvious front-end damage and potential missing plastic molding from the front bumper.

Police in Northern Westchester are investigating a three-vehicle crash in which a local woman was killed.
The crash took place around 6:05 p.m., Monday, Dec. 28 on Route 202 (Crompond Road) in Yorktown, just west of Garden Lane.
The driver of one of the vehicles involved in the crash, a 70-year-old woman from Mohegan Lake died at the scene, said Yorktown Police Lt. John Delulio.
Another driver was transported to Westchester Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, while the third driver refused medical attention at the scene, Delulio said.
An investigation into the crash is being conducted by the department s Accident Investigation Unit with the assistance of the Westchester County Department of Public Safety.
