They were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism under section 41 of the Terrorism Act 2000, as part of an ongoing investigation into right-wing terrorism.

Homeowners in Keighley, West Yorkshire, suffered a dramatic start to the day as they were ordered out of their properties by officers from Counter Terrorism Policing North East. They arrested a 29-year-old man, a 30-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman in the town on suspicion of being concerned in the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism under Section 41 of the Terrorism Act 2000. A 28-year-old man was arrested in Anglesey, north Wales, and the teenage boy was arrested in Swindon, Wiltshire, on Saturday morning on suspicion of the same offence.
