Forty-year-old Brenda Jay Gallant was arrested Wednesday afternoon following a traffic stop in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway on an outstanding $2,500 Alaska State Trooper Warrant for Arson in the Third Degree.
According to a Juneau Police bulletin 40-year-old Ofa Ki Mataki Kivalu was arrested at the same time for hindering prosecution. Both were jailed at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
At last report, the other woman charged in the arson case, 23-year-old Patricia L. Jesus, remains at large.
