Britney Spears will break her silence to the probate court in June in her highly controversial conservatorship battle.

III, the pop titan s probate attorney in the case, asked the court on Tuesday (April 27) to set the date on an expedited basis, for when the star would address the court. Britney wants to address the court directly, Ingham said, adding that she would like it to happen within the next month. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge
Brenda Penny responded to the request and scheduled a hearing on June 23 to allow her to speak on the status of the conservatorship.

According to Variety, Britney Spears will speak in court at the next conservatorship hearing in June. At a hearing yesterday, Britney requested via her attorney Samuel Ingham to address the court personally at a future hearing. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny granted the pop star s request and scheduled the hearing for June 23rd where she ll be allowed to speak on the “status of the conservatorship.”
Britney s conservatorship began in 2008 and she has remained silent throughout the whole thing, but has expressed through her attorney that she “strongly opposed” her father James “Jamie” Spears serving as her conservator. Back in November, Judge Penny denied Britney s bid to remove her father from the conservatorship, but did approve Britney s request to appoint financial company the Bessemer Trust as a co-conservator.
