WARNER ROBINS, Ga. A Warner Robins convenience store clerk is recovering after being shot in an armed robbery early Monday morning.
Warner Robins Police Chief John Wagner says someone robbed the 7 Star Food Mart at gunpoint. The store sits at the intersection of North Davis Drive and Tabor Drive.
A news release from the police department says officers were sent to the convenience store at 644 North Davis Drive around 3:45 a.m.
When officers got there, the store clerk was shot in the back. The store clerk reportedly says two men wearing masks walked inside with guns and demanded cash from the register.

MACON, Ga. Bibb County investigators are trying to figure out what led to a man being found shot in the head in a car in downtown Macon early Friday morning.
A news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were sent to Cherry Street near Second Street just before 12:30 a.m. about a man shot in the head in a white Jeep Wrangler.
