Today (June 1, 2021), the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, Ingrid Brocková, attended the ministerial meeting (held from 31 May to 1 June 2021) of the Council of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). Today s meeting also included the ceremonial handing over of the leadership of the position of the Secretary General of the organization. After 15 years with Ãngel GurrÃa in the position of the OECD Secretary General, Mathias Cormann, the former Minister of Finance of Australia, has replaced him. Costa Rica participated in the meeting for the first time as the 38th full member of the organization.
