Inmate at Broadmoor Hospital accused of assaulting four prison officers An inmate at Broadmoor Hospital has appeared in court over serious assaults on four prison officers while in custody. Yusuf El-Hamid, 20, is accused of three counts of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and one of assault occasioning actual bodily harm against officers at Wormwood Scrubs prison, west London, in June and July last year. He appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday afternoon by videolink from Broadmoor Hospital in Berkshire.
