Welsh farmers Llion and Sian Jones are using new ag-tech to enhance breed performance
The Stabiliser Cattle Company has introduced new livestock management software into its high-performance breeding programme.
AgriWebb’s mobile app and insight-led dashboards are being introduced to its 110 breeders, called Multipliers, who manage over 12,000 breeding cattle.
The software makes it easier to record performance data on Stabiliser’s animals, and view numerous insights including weight records and pedigree traits.
It is speeding up data collection and providing evidence to support Stabiliser’s selection of the best available genetics.
easyJet and easyJet holidays have announced the launch of new routes and holidays from Birmingham Airport for this summer.
Starting from June 29, 2021, flights and holidays will take off from Birmingham Airport to the popular beach destinations of Majorca, Málaga and Alicante in Spain, Faro in Portugal, and Corfu in Greece.
Birmingham to Málaga flights will operate twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays from June 29 with fares available from £22.99
Birmingham to Faro will operate three times per week on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays from June 29 with fares from £22.99
Birmingham to Alicante will operate three times per week on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays from June 30 with fares from £23.99

A FLINTSHIRE company has been named one of the best businesses in rural Britain after winning an Amazon-backed Rural Business Award. The Leader reported in November how the Accessible Holiday Escapes website had been shortlisted in the Best Rural Start-Up Business category of the 2020/2021 Rural Business Awards, held in partnership with Amazon. It has now been confirmed the business - which helps guests with disabilities find quality accommodation to suits their needs - won that category. The business was started by husband-and-wife team Becky and Phil Hamilton. Mr and Mrs Hamilton love having holidays and days out, but often found it difficult to find accommodation that suited the needs of their eight-year-old daughter, who has a rare metabolic disorder called CDG Type 2, and their 13-year-old son.
