The pandemic has impacted people all across the world, economically and socially.
The situation has inspired Particle Pte Ltd, in collaboration with Fondazione ICA Milano, to organise an art exhibition called
Fragilita, which investigate the concept of fragility in contemporary art production.
Italy’s ambassador to Malaysia, Cristiano Maggipinto, said four Italian and four Malaysian artists are involved in the ongoing online art exhibition which can be viewed here.
“Art and culture are important because they can help us to deal and to cope with the pandemic. We all feel more fragile because of the pandemic.
“In many cases, pandemic can happen and we should be ready, so we highlighted the fragility of the human condition from this point of view, ” said Maggipinto recently.

Boris Johnson has wished happy birthday to Sir David Attenborough as the great naturalist turned 95 today.
The Prime Minister joined politicians, broadcasters and thousands of fans in congratulating Sir David and celebrating his work as an environmentalist.
Mr Johnson s wishes come ahead of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26), which was launched by the Prime Minister and Sir David last February.
The conference, which is to be held in Glasgow, was delayed because of the Covid pandemic and has been rescheduled for November this year.
