FIDA launch new open access Education from Scotland Media Links Wednesday 12th May 2021 sees the launch of FIDA (Futures Institute at Dollar Academy) – an open-access online learning platform that empowers young people to learn in new ways, through innovative projects rooted in the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). It has been created to address three fundamental challenges – sustainability, equitable access to education, and the need for curricular reform. The platform enables young people to work with experts from industry and universities to better understand, and design solutions to, some of the most complex challenges we face, such as climate change, poverty, and social injustice. There is a wide variety of ways young people can get involved, with a core offering of 17 Global Challenges – one for each of the UN SDGs.

IEPA Signs MOU With RCQE For Collaborative Projects In Meeting The UN SDG 4

  The Institute for Educational Planning and Administration (IEPA), a UNESCO Category II Centre of Excellence, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Regional Center of Quality and Excellence in Education (RCQE), Saudi Arabia, to collaborate on projects in meeting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4. In a signing ceremony which took place virtually concurrently in RCQE and IEPA in Cape Coast, the Director of IEPA, Dr. Michael Boakye-Yiadom remarked that, “IEPA is excited to be partnering with other Category II Institutes in education beyond West Africa, to learn, share ideas and partner on research. This partnership with RCQE is one of many that will promote the advancement of educational planning and excellence in West Africa specifically and globally as a whole.”
