Premier global nutrition company, Herbalife Nutrition, is celebrating the success of its Nutrition for Zero Hunger initiative. This ongoing initiative is aimed at eradicating hunger and to date the company and the Herbalife Nutrition Foundation have donated more than $3 million in financial aid and in-kind gifts.
According to the Food and Agricultural Organization, one in three people in the world suffer from some form of malnutrition. Nutrition for Zero Hunger aims to improve as many communities as possible through healthy nutrition and education by funding leading global organizations, including Feed theChildren and The Hunger Project, among others.

CASTRIES, St Lucia, (OECS) â With the support of the Pew Charitable Trusts (Pew) and the International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD), the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Commission will be convening a high-level workshop on the ongoing World Trade Organization (WTO) fisheries subsidies negotiations on February 24-25, 2021.
This Workshop is being targeted at senior trade, foreign affairs, fisheries, maritime affairs and other relevant officials in Member States.
WTO members are under a mandate to reach an agreement to end harmful fisheries subsidies by the next meeting of the ministerial conference, the Organization s top-level decision-making body. Generational poverty, food inaccessibility and now, COVID-19 are together exacerbating hidden hunger in underserved and low-income communities. This includes mothers-to-be and babies who are exceptionally vulnerable to the deficiency of essential vitamins and minerals, which global organizations including the World Health Organization call hidden hunger. According to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FA), 690 million people were undernourished in 2019 and this number is rising.
