Dreamcatcher Repertory Theatre, professional Theatre in Residence at the Oakes Center in Summit, will present its annual Meet the Artist new play reading series on Wednesdays, May 5, 12, 19 and 26. All readings will take place on Zoom at 7 pm, and require advance registration.

Solicitor General saves 11.4trn/- through charges, compensations
THE office of the Solicitor General has saved 11.4trn/- through various charges and compensations in local and international courts.

Solicitor General Gabriel Malata made the remarks when opening a four-day training for state attorneys which is being held in Morogoro municipality.
The training which is being attended by retired judges was aimed at equipping attorneys on how to arbitrate various tribunals opened by the government both locally and abroad.
He said during 2019/20 there were cases that involved economic matters which the government was supposed to pay as compensation but the office of the solicitor general won them.

Oral arguments in a key donor disclosure case before the United States Supreme Court lasted 105 minutes on Monday morning, with questions from all nine justices and back-and-forth with representatives of the plaintiffs, the California Attorney General, and the federal government.
Among the questions from the justices were whether on facial (on its face) challenges which would apply to all charities versus as-applied challenges, impacting only the two petitioners in the case of

A little over two-thirds of Americans oppose the idea of expanding the number of justices on the U.S. Supreme Court, according to a new poll.
The survey of over 1,100 U.S. registered voters was conducted by Mason-Dixon Polling & Strategy, Inc. and sponsored by the conservative legal nonprofit First Liberty Institute, which is devoted to protecting religious freedom rights.Â
The poll gauged the opinions of voters about the debate over adding seats to the nine-justice Supreme Court days after President Joe Biden established a commission to look into adding justices to the Supreme Court.Â
