Despite his role as the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, the man Jonathan Fonati Koffa, who is also Grand Kru County District two Representative at the House of Representatives is overly making his presence felt in that southeastern County.
His regular interaction with his people in the county was early this year noticed recently by many Liberians including his kinsmen during his legislative tour in the County where he defiantly ventured into towns and villages where previous lawmakers of that historic county never reached.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibadan Zonal Office, on Monday, secured the conviction of three internet fraudsters in Ibadan, Oyo State capital.
The defendants were prosecuted before two separate courts, the Federal High Court, Ibadan and Oyo State High Court.
Samuel Tanimowo Owolabi and Akinrinmade Adepoju Sunday convicted by Justice Patricia Ajoku of the Federal High Court, Ibadan of charges of fraudulent impersonation, contrary to Section 22 (3) (a) and 22 (2) (a) of the Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, Etc) Act, 2015, and punishable under the same Act.
Owolabi was sentenced to a year and seven months imprisonment while Akinrinmade bagged three months imprisonment.
