According to numbers just released by the United States Census Bureau, California will have one fewer seat in the House of Representatives after the 2022 Congressional election. Altogether, seven states will lose a seat. Six states will gain a seat, with Texas gaining two seats. Thirty-seven states will see no change in the number of their representatives.
