Ministry of Agriculture Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF) with support from MOH, UNHCR, WFP, FAO, and partners were engaged in the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification for Acute Malnutrition (IPC AMN) in all refugee settlements and Kampala. IPC AMN classifies regions based on their severity of acute malnutrition and projects the outlook based on key assumptions. Public Health engagements Ministry of Health, OPM and UNHCR held meeting with the districts from the South-West region to develop the district transition plan from NGOs partners to district local government. This is pertinent to the Covid-19 response, involving both immediate lifesaving assistance and longer term support for health systems, socioeconomic impacts and peacebuilding.2 Experience in Cameroon can inform global policy and practice for several reasons. Cameroon moved from a position of stability to three concurrent crises in the last five years, providing a learning opportunity for development actors adapting to deepening crises. Initially, significant variations in transfer values were implemented by different organisations, occasionally leading to different transfer values in the same locations. It was against this backdrop, and as a response to the increasing number of agencies using cash-based interventions to respond to the 2016-2017 drought, that the Somalia Cash Working Group (CWG) started convening in February 2017. The aim of the CWG is to streamline the design, development, and implementation of cash-based interventions in Somalia. Pursuant to these aims, the CWG provides quarterly transfer value recommendations, based on Somalia s standard minimum expenditure basket (MEB), to humanitarian organisations implementing cash-based interventions in Somalia.
