(ABC 6 NEWS) - Rochester police say officers found three young children in a vehicle at the Government Center parking lot after their mom went inside for a court hearing and remained in custody.
Rochester Police say 29-year-old Dectrini Boldien of Rochester was at the Olmsted County Government Center on Wednesday afternoon for a court appearance. The judge decided to hold Boldien and she reportedly told the court her children were being taken care of in the Twin Cities. She was taken into custody around 2:56 p.m.
Police were called a couple of hours later around 5:30 p.m. for a car alarm going off in the Government Center parking lot. Police found a 1-year-old girl, 3-year-old girl, and a 4-year-old boy all inside the vehicle. Police say the children were sweating from the heat in the car and they were taken to Saint
