Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - COVID-19 continues to kill even as the spread of the virus is slowing and the number of Minnesotans vaccinated against it steadily rises.
The Minnesota Department of Health today reported another 10 coronavirus-related deaths in the state. Three of the deaths involved residents of Olmsted County. Two of the victims were in their 70s, while the third was between 50 and 54 years old. Of the nearly 6400 COVID-19 deaths reported in Minnesota since the beginning of the pandemic, the number of deaths in that age group is only a little above 100. There have now been 89 coronavirus-related deaths in Olmsted County.
