BHUBANESWAR: The Budget session of the Odisha assembly started on a stormy note on Thursday with opposition Congress and BJP members staging a walkout as soon as Governor Ganesh Lal started addressing the House.
The Congress members led by its whip Taraprasad Bahinipati raised slogans and urged the governor to stop reading out his speech in praise of the BJD government.

Bhubaneswar (Odisha) [India], December 25 (ANI): The Oversight Authority under the Chairmanship of Justice AK Patnaik has approved 15 new projects worth an estimated Rs 3,210 crore under OMBADC and expressed satisfaction over the quality and progress of the projects being implemented with Odisha Mineral Bearing Areas Development Corporation (OMBADC) funds.
Reviewing the projects in a high level meeting held on digital mode on Thursday, Justice Patnaik said, The projects proposed by different departments are well planned with appropriate objectives .
During his visit to different OMBADC districts he had seen the project implementation moving at a fast rate. The feedback about the quality of the projects received from different quarters was also quite good .
