Syracuse mastermind of huge white-collar scheme also faces violent crimes

But London Lucas, 26, may have bigger problems than a scheme that ripped off Empower Federal Credit Union, Turning Stone and other businesses of untold amounts of money in one of the most complex white-collar crimes in recent Onondaga County District Attorney’s Office history.
In a separate case, Lucas is also accused of using a gun to threaten someone in June in Cicero. He also faces a burglary charge, accused of barging into a person’s Syracuse home in March. Those are violent felonies that could carry additional decades in prison.
