The university spent tens of millions of dollars since March 2020 to combat COVID-19 on campus and faces revenue losses caused by the pandemic in areas including net tuition and fee revenue, auxiliary revenues and athletics. Yet, long-term, Ohio State is poised to rebound, university officials noted in an interim financial report covering July 1, 2020, to March 31, 2020. The long-term picture is anchored by an increase of nearly $1.4 billion of investment income for Ohio State compared to the previous fiscal year.

BARNESVILLE Ohio Hills Health Services is grateful to the Belmont County Enrichment Fund for funding to support the Barnesville Family Dental Center. The Belmont County Enrichment Fund formerly Smith-Goshen-Rice Enrichment Fun was created in 2013 by a group of landowners along with Rice Energy in Belmont County. The Belmont County Enrichment Fund is established through the Community Foundation for the Ohio Valley. “We want to thank all of the donors for their very generous support to make this grant possible and to assist us to expand our dental services,” said Jan Chambers, director of Outreach and Development, OHHS. “The Belmont County Enrichment Fund is making a difference in the lives of area residents. Thank you!”

OHHS offers patient discount program to eligible individuals Staff Report Ohio Hills Health Services (OHHS) offers a Patient Discount Program to make health care accessible and affordable for area residents. The program offers patients a discount on services based on a patient’s household size and income. Individuals and families may be eligible for the discount program if they are uninsured, insured with high deductibles, or have a lot of out-of-pocket medical expenses. “During the past year, many people in our area have lost income and are struggling financially. We want people to know that we may be able to assist them to help afford the healthcare they and their family members need,” said Dee Stewart, Director of Revenue Cycle Management, OHHS. “We are glad to answer patients’ questions and assist them with the Patient Discount Program application process.”
