The attorneys general in the letter said they are concerned about social media s effects on the physical and emotional well-being of children, the potential for increased cyberbullying, possible vulnerability to online predators, and what they called Facebook s checkered record in protecting children on its platforms.

Jorge Del Rio on Senate Floor A Dayton police detective who was shot and killed in the line of duty in 2019 was among those honored during the Peace Officers’ Memorial in London, Ohio, today. Detective Jorge Del Rio was shot twice while serving a drug-related warrant as part of a Drug Enforcement Administration task force in Dayton. He died days later on Nov. 7, 2019. The families and agencies of officers killed in the line of duty in 2019 and 2020 gathered near the Peace Officers’ Memorial wall, a monument that includes the name of every officer who died in the line of duty in Ohio, Thursday.

Sundermann made her request in a letter Wednesday to Clerk of Council Melissa Autry. She asked the clerk to put forward a motion to suspend Young. That can happen once the election results will take effect in 10 days when the Hamilton County Board of Elections certifies the primary vote, Sundermann said.
