Health workers at the Karaga District Hospital have taken delivery of bicycles, decoders, and flat-screen television sets from Member of Parliament of the area, Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam (Anta).
An aide to the former deputy Energy Minister, Abdul Halim Tikuma presented the items at the maiden Staff Awards Day ceremony on Saturday, 6th February 2020.
The scheme is aimed to award outstanding and hardworking staff of the facility in healthcare delivery.
Addressing the media after the exercise, Mr. Halim Tikuma, the gesture forms part of Dr. Amin Anta’s commitment to supporting institutions and individuals providing professional services within the constituency.

Gina Scott, IT support specialist II in the College of Veterinary Medicine, and Kayla Schmidt, human capital specialist I in the College of Health and Human Sciences, were recognized as Professional Staff of the Week at the Dec. 19 and Dec. 21 men s home basketball games, respectively. Faculty Senate, the Office of the President, K-State Athletics and the Division of Communications and Marketing wish to recognize these individuals contributions to K-State.

As I write about the division leading 5-7 Giants today, but for 3 or 4 plays going the wrong way, I could just as easily be writing about the ( possible if unlikely) Super Bowl contending 8-4 NY Giants.
Over the course of the past year some good things have happened for the Giants (The Virus Hasn t Killed Everything)
1) Joe Judge and his Outstanding Staff have made this a Focused, Disciplined, Purposeful but still Fun Team to watch.
2) Dave Gettleman (Sorry to the Haters) has done a Very Good job obtaining talent and filling holes with both Draft choices and especially with Free Agents. Martinez, Ryan, Bradberry, Fackrell, Gano and you might as well count Williams were GREAT ADDITIONS and went a long way toward building a STRONG FOUNDATION!
