A man with dementia has been found safe after police appealed for sightings of him. Police said earlier that Mathew Tihi, 56, had been acting aggressively at Wellington Hospital before he discharged himself on Friday. Police were called on Saturday evening. On Sunday evening, police said Tihi had been found safe in the company of associates. A spokeswoman for Capital & Coast District Health Board, which operates Wellington Hospital, said on Sunday that because it was a police matter the organisation was unable to comment further.
