Pirates have confirmed that veteran defender and club captain Jele (34) has penned a year-long contract extension that will run until the end of the upcoming season, with the Soweto giants retaining the option to extend his deal by a further year. Orlando Pirates Football Club is delighted to announce that captain Happy Jele has signed a new contract that will see him lead the team into the 2021/22 season, the club said in an official statement.
