UPDATE 3/8/2021: On March 7, 2021, at 10:12 p.m., firefighters from Charles County responded to 5200 Rivers Edge Place in Indian Head, for the reported structure on fire.
Crews arrived on the scene to find fire showing from the two story mansion.
The owner has been identified as Lanwan, LLC, with the estimated loss of structure deemed $100,000.00
40 firefighters responded and controlled the fire in approximately 40 minutes.
A neighbor discovered the fire, and the investigating determined the fire started in the Ball Room, with the cause remaining under investigation.
The home was vacant at the time of the fire.
There were no injuries as a result of the fire.
