Assurance Practitioner job with Health and Safety Executive

At HSE, we work with one goal in mind – to help keep Britain’s workforce safe and healthy. As an independent regulator, our work touches virtually every sector of UK industry. We don’t just inspect workplaces and implement the law, we campaign for better H&S practice, craft and review guidance and regulations, and produce crucial research and statistics. Maintaining confidence in our regulatory activities depends on assuring quality. As a result we have set up a new Business Assurance Team with responsibility for developing and implementing an assurance framework, based on the Three Lines of Defence Model. This is your opportunity to help shape a high-quality, responsive and efficient second-line assurance function in support of our Accounting Officer, Directors, Board and Committees.
