Although this price increase isn t welcome it is worth noting that Virgin s prices didn t go up last year with the firm scrapping the usual October hike.
Some users will also avoid paying anything extra with Virgin confirming that vulnerable customers – including those on its new Essential broadband package for people receiving Universal Credit, as well as Talk Protected landline customers – will not see their prices change.
Speaking about the price rise a Virgin Media spokesperson said: “Through continued investment, improvement and innovation we’re committed to providing great value and a top service for our customers.
