(Seguin) – With a number of hurdles preventing a safe return to school, area students now officially have the rest of the week off. Seguin, Navarro and Marion ISDs all announced on Wednesday the cancellation of classes for the remainder of the week.
All felt that weather conditions were going to continue to be problematic for roadways. Plus, the electrical outages are expected to continue into Friday.
Navarro Superintendent Wendi Russell says in addition to making sure families were ready to return, each of the respective school districts needed to do their part to welcome them back.
