Letter: Wooster softball coaching change unfair to players

This is in regard to the recent Wooster High School softball coaching change.
In December 2020, Coach Rich Seigenthaler s contract was not renewed by the Wooster Athletics Department. The department stated it was because they have decided to move in another direction.
Upon conversations with Athletic Director Joe Rubino it was communicated to me that coach Seigenthaler had done nothing immoral or illegal that lead to his dismissal.
Many parents expressed their dissatisfaction with this decision and it went before the school board and the superintendent of Wooster City Schools who upheld the decision.
