The ministry also reported five new deaths and 350 recoveries.
As of May 11, the country had recorded a total of 20,223 Covid-19 cases and 131 fatalities.

Bangkok (VNA) – Thailand is on course to become the world’s largest
durian producer over the next five years, however, it is at risk of losing out
to neighbouring exporters of the king of fruit, experts have warned.
Director of the Centre for International Trade Studies at the University of the
Thai Chamber of Commerce Aat Pisanwanich said that with 30 percent growth in
durian-planting areas in the country in the past decade, durian production is
predicted to rise by 83 percent during 2021-2025.

Jakarta (VNA) - Indonesia and
Romania have agreed to increase
cooperation in economy, trade, investment, counter-terrorism and COVID-19
response, and continue supporting each other at international forums.
The agreement reached at the
Deputy Foreign Minister Mahendra Siregar and director general of American and European affairs at the Indonesia Foreign Ministry, Ngurah Swajaya, and Romanian Foreign Minister Cornel
Feruta, according to a written statement released by the Indonesian Foreign
Ministry on April 2.
In an effort to improve economic and trade cooperation,
Indonesia and Romania have encouraged direct contact between the business
agents of the two nations, Siregar said.
