Four Killed In Lenoir, Bodies Found Following Fire & Explosion

According to Lenoir Police, four people are dead after an explosion and fire at a home in Lenoir Wednesday. The explosion was reported at a home on Laurel Place NW between 9:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. The department received 911 calls regarding shots being fired and responded to the scene.
According to a news release from the Lenoir Police Department, the four victims appear to have died due to gunshot wounds and not the explosion of a yet to be determined origin. The victims consisted of a 58-year-old man, an 18-year-old girl, a 15-year-old girl and a 29-year-old man.
