Deputy Chief Minister Dr CN Ashwath Narayan, who is also the higher education minister, informed this in an official press release on Wednesday. Students have requested to conduct one more round of counseling so that they can be given a last chance to elect the courses leftover. Further, the Karnataka Unaided Private Education Colleges Association (KUPECA), has requested to extend the date up to January 15, 2021, for admissions to the engineering and architecture courses. Considering the above facts and in the interest of the students the letter has been written, he explained.
