Flying ice punctures windshield, injuring driver on I-70

Ice falling from a tractor-trailer traveling on Interstate 70 in Guernsey County Monday afternoon injured a Senecaville motorist when it punched a hole through his vehicle s windshield.
Brandon Booher, 34, was transported by United Ambulance to Southeastern Med after being struck in the face by flying glass from the windshield of the 2006 Nissan Titan he was driving.
Dduring a 911 call to the Guernsey County Sheriff s Office just after 1 p.m., Booher told a dispatcher he may have swallowed glass from the windshield. He also reportedly suffered minor lacerations from the glass.
Two victims transported to the hospital after collision in eastern Guernsey County

QUAKER CITY A head-on collision on Barker Road in eastern Guernsey County Monday afternoon sent two individuals to the hospital with various injuries including one victim with a possible head injury.
The names of the victims transported to the hospital were not available Tuesday morning.
The injured were only identified by the Ohio State Highway Patrol as the fiance and daughter of one of the drivers, a Brian Wolters, 49, of Barnesville. He was not injured.
The driver of the second vehicle, John Weaver, 17, of Quaker City, suffered minor injuries, but was not transported to the hospital.
