For the second day, a king tide has lapped at the doors of a Gold Coast surf club, as Tuesday s surging waves left a thick layer of seafoam around the building.
The huge tide has not been the only unusual weather event, with a widespread drenching dumping almost 900 millimetres in the Scenic Rim over three days and causing power outages, fallen trees and leaking roofs.
