Forbes, Maye reveals that she always motivated her children to follow their dreams. When they needed it, I encouraged them and helped them. When they wanted my advice, I gave it, she writes.
She describes Elon as a keen reader blessed with a sharp memory since his childhood. He was called the Encyclopedia because he had read the Encyclopedia Britannica and Collier s Encyclopedia and remembered the information. Unsurprisingly, he was also called the genius boy .
Lagos lays backbone for fast internet and better future, writes Kazeem Adeniji
It’s 15 years ago that I last used a computer not connected to the internet. Before then, I thought I could do so much – learn, work and have fun – with the computer already. When I installed Encyclopaedia Britannica, I was over the moon. I could easily source out information on hundreds of thousands of topics. But from the moment I started using the internet, the computer never remained the same for me. I was hooked to the wide, wild, world of the internet.
I guess that experience of ‘getting hooked’ is the same for everyone that would ever use the internet. Call it a game-changer and you would be right. In today’s world, the internet has become indispensable. It’s sine qua non to modern life. So, when the Lagos State government recently announced that it had laid 3, 000km of fibre optics cable across the state, I was thrilled. But that is just phase one.

I was pretty stirred up recently when it was reported that U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and her pals in Congress were about to form an America First Caucus that would, among other things, promote “uniquely Anglo-Saxon political traditions.”
Anglo-Saxons? Make America Medieval Again. And raise the drawbridge.
Critics say Greene, the Georgia Republican who has conspiracies on her mind, was using Anglo-Saxon as a substitute for “white.” She denied it, blaming any misunderstanding on a staffer from an outside group.
And that’s why you should never outsource crackpot ideas.

Multilateralism, as we in China understand it, is about seeking consensus through consultation and manage common affairs through cooperation for shared benefits and win-win results. In this sense, China and Europe share a common interest in upholding multilateralism.
Fu Ying is the Chair of Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) at Tsinghua University and former Vice Foreign Minister of China.
We both believe that the challenges faced by humankind should be tackled through international cooperation, and differences need to be addressed through consultations in multilateral institutions within the framework of the United Nations (UN). As John Ruggie, a renowned champion of multilateralism, said that “the definition of the term (multilateralism) means cooperation.” In China-EU relations, cooperation is not only the source of fruitful achievements to date but also the foundation for future cooperation.
