JSSAHER among top institutions in pharmacy Updated: Updated: Share Article AAA The JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research, Mysuru, was ranked in the 201-250 band under “Pharmacy & Pharmacology” among 1453 institutions in the QS World University Rankings by Subjects. A release said the ranking was across 51 narrow subjects and 5 broad subject areas and JSSAHER was ranked among top 5 higher educational institutions in India under the subject “Pharmacy & Pharmacology”. The result of 2021 QS World University Rankings by Subject was announced virtually on Thursday by Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Union Minister of Education, and the criteria included Academic & Employers Reputation, Publications, Citations and H-Index.

Intl Webinar marks World GIS Day - Star of Mysore

Mysore/Mysuru: The Division of Geoinformatics, Faculty of Natural Sciences (FNS), JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research (JSS AHER), Mysuru, to commemorate World GIS Day (celebrated worldwide on Nov. 18), conducted a webinar on ‘Mapping the Future with GIS’ with keynote addresses by Dr. K. Balasubramani and Peejush Pani. This webinar was conceived and convened by Sawant Sushant, Co-ordinator, Division of Geoinformatics, with support from Dr. M. Ravikumar, Division of Geoinformatics, JSS AHER. The explosion of geospatial technology in the last 20 years has introduced an idea of global event that shows how geography and the real-world applications of GIS are making a difference in business, Government and society. The webinar had 248 participants including students and faculties from various institutes across the country and many participants from Nepal, Bangladesh and African countries.

Winners of State-level Inter-Deemed Universities Chess Tournament December 13, 2020 The Chess team of JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research (JSS AHER), Mysuru, emerged winners in the State-level Inter-Deemed University Online Chess Tournament organised by JSS AHER along with Legends Chess Academy. The Tournament had 32 participants from six Universities and was conducted both in team and individual formats. P. Shet Prajwal secured the highest points and was declared winner in the individual category followed by Arjun Matathil, both from JSS Medical College, Mysuru. Team of JSS AHER, consisting of Prajwal, Arjun, Prabath and Dr. Goudam, emerged winners in the team event. Manipal Academy of Higher Education and Research (MAHE) were the runners-up.
