This year s Academy Award for Best Documentary (Short Subject) has gone to Colette, a 25-minute film released as part of Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond.
It s the first Academy Award win for part of a video game, as well as the first win for programming funded by Facebook and Electronic Arts, by way of Respawn.
Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond was released in December last year for Oculus and Steam VR. Developed by Titanfall and Apex Legends studio Respawn, it also included a trove of background material to delve into, such as Colette.
SSR and Rishi Kapoor were also remembered in the segment.

Longer acceptance speeches, no jokes/sketches/songs for entertainment, and a shot at diversity marked the intimate redesigned Oscars that skipped Dolby Theater for the Los Angeles’ Union Station.
History was created with Chloe Zhao s best director win, Anthony Hopkins Best Actor honour, and Yuh-Jung Youn s Best Supporting Actress Oscar. While Zhao became the first woman of colour (and second woman ever) to bag the honour, Hopkins is the oldest person to have won the statuette, and Youn became the first Korean actor to win an Academy Award.

LOS ANGELES In a break with tradition, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences decided to end its Oscars ceremony on Sunday with the prize for best actor instead of the one for best picture.
