(Thursday; May 6; Sioux Center, Iowa) The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) announced its 2021 Academic All-District teams on Thursday and Dordt University senior Erika Feenstra (Senior; Sioux Center, Iowa) garnered recognition on the five-player District 3 team that includes NAIA schools from Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
This is the third straight year Feenstra has earned this honor and she averaged 12.5 points per game with 4.9 rebounds and converted 49.1 percent of her field goals. She will graduate with a degree in Health & Human Performance/Exercise Science and she maintained a 3.99 grade point average at Dordt. Feenstra is the all-time career

(Thursday; May 6; Sioux Center, Iowa) The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) announced its 2021 Academic All-District teams on Thursday and Dordt University senior Jesse Jansma (Senior; Sioux Center, Iowa) garnered recognition on the five-player District 3 team that includes NAIA schools from Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
Jansma claimed the honor after averaging 14.7 points per game with 3.6 rebounds and he graduates from Dordt with 1,338 points (14th) and 281 assists (10th). He maintains a 3.78 grade point average while majoring in Accounting and Finance.
Lahtinen Tabbed Academic All-District
THE FLATS – Georgia Tech women’s basketball junior Lotta-Maj Lahtinen was selected to the 2021 Academic All-District Women’s Basketball Team, recognizing the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performance on the field and in the classroom, the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) announced Thursday.
A two-time All-ACC Academic Team honoree, Lahtinen carries a 3.58 grade-point average in the business administration program at Georgia Tech. The ACC’s Most Improved Player, Lahtinen led the Yellow Jackets in scoring this season, averaging 15.0 points per game. Lahtinen posted 18 games scoring in double-figures, including 14 with 15 points or more. She set a career-high in scoring, dropping 30 points against NC State. Additionally, Lahtinen also earned All-ACC honors, being tabbed to the first team by the Blue Ribbon Panel and second team by the head coaches. Lahtinen capped her junior season being named W
