Adedayo Akinwale in Abuja The All Progressives Congress (APC) Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee yesterday after an emergency meeting held at the party secretariat in Abuja maintained a graveyard silence regarding the party Congresses and convention. There have been unconfirmed reports that the caretaker committee was plotting another six months extension which will end in December 2021 rather than conducting the party’s convention by June. The Director General of Progressive Governors Forum (PGF), Dr. Salihu Lukman, recently warned the Caretaker Committee led by the Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni, not to abuse the confidence of President Muhammadu Buhari by delaying the National Convention of the party beyond June 2021.
