One level down are Wendy Sherman (deputy Secretary of State); Eric Lander (science and technology adviser); Ann Neuberger (deputy National Security Adviser); and David Cohen (deputy CIA director). P’burg councilman: We’re speaking up to try to save small businesses | Letter Updated Dec 11, 2020; Facebook Share I’m responding to Lee Clark’s letter regarding my stance on the governor’s unconstitutional COVID-19 restrictions (”With cases surging across Warren County, P’burg Council must face COVID-19 realities,” Dec. 10). As of Dec. 1, 31.2 percent of New Jersey’s small businesses were forced to close the doors permanently on their establishments, and more importantly, their dreams. Neither Gov. Phil Murphy nor Congressman Tom Malinowski has provided aid as promised. Clark hasn’t once publicly pressed either elected official for action to assist our struggling community. Why now raise the subject with only me and another member of town council? It’s an election year and Clark will undoubtedly be placing his name on the ballot once again for council in 2021.
