New Delhi [India], January 27 (ANI): Congress President Sonia Gandhi is in touch with opposition leaders to discuss the joint strategy to take on the government during the budget session of Parliament on various issues, especially farm laws, sources said.
The sources said that the leaders will have a meeting through video conference soon to chalk out a joint strategy.
The budget session will start on January 29 and the first part of the session will continue till February 15. The second part of the session will be held from March 8 to April 8.

ISLAMABAD: The Narendra Modi regime is heading towards legal and political quagmire with Indian opposition leaders likely to seek joint parliamentary probe and once his close aides pressuring him to resign over leak of military secrets to a TV anchor. Indian Congress President Sonia Gandhi said that the center’s silence on the purported WhatsApp chats of Republic TV Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami about the Balakot airstrike was deafening. “There have been very disturbing reports on how national security has been so thoroughly compromised,” Gandhi said, according to Indian news agency Press Trust of India.

New Jan 25 : The Congress has formed a number of committees for the upcoming assembly polls in Assam. The committees formed by the party include the election committee, manifesto committee, management committee, coordination committee, campaign committee and media committee. Sonia Gandhi has appointed state president Ripun Bora as Chairman of state election committee and the coordination committee along with 23 other members while the campaign committee will be headed by Pradyut Bordoloi which has 49 other members.
Former Assam Minister Rokibul Hussain has been appointed Chairman of the publicity committee while Gaurav Gogoi will be heading the manifesto committee. Former MP Ram Prasad Sarma will head the election management committee and Abdul Khaleque will be in-charge of Media.
